How I’ve Grown Closer to God During This Time
We can all use this time to draw close to god
I start my day by reading the bible and studying what the book says about how we should live. After I finish reading I write in my journal. My journal writing is me asking God for help, asking him to give me direction and asking for strength, or anything I feel I need to get me through the day.
Once I finish writing in my journal, I go for a worship walk. My worship walk is me listening to Christian and gospel music for about 30 minutes. Doing this has given me a more positive mindset and helped me learn more about myself.
My reading, journaling, and walks have helped reframed my mind so I walk by faith and not by sight because the things we see now are temporary.
I’ve learned going to church or attending church online is the start of learning who God is and the promises he has made us, his children.
The bible has put every self-improvement and personal development to shame and honestly has become one of the most important books in my library.
God uses all things for his good
The bible has taught me that even events that we classify as “bad” or “wrong” in the moment, God has used them for his good.
