Making it As a Creator
The Only Thing You Need to Remember
To make it as a creator you need to give more than you take.
While you do have needs as a creator, you have to understand the needs of your audience come first. Being a creator means you’re a leader.
Jesus said “Whoever wants to become great among you must be a servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” in Mark verse 43–44.
Unfortunately, most creators don’t view this path as a way of making it, because it means putting others first and shifting their perspective from being me and I focused to you focused.
The creator who can’t give and put others first will be like the rich man refusing to follow Jesus (read Matthew 16–25).
A man came to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to have eternal life?”
Jesus tells the man he must obey the commands. The man tells Jesus he has obeyed the commands and asks what else does he need to do.
Jesus tells the man if he wants to be perfect, then go and sell all you own. Give the money to the poor and you will have riches in heaven.
The rich man became sad when Jesus told him to give away his money because he was rich and didn’t want to do it.
