The 1 Person Who Needs to Like What You Write
It’s not your followers, boss, editors, it’s none of these people
You!
You write for others to inspire and help but more importantly you write to feed your soul.
Are your words feeding your soul?
Do you step back from your writing and say, “Hell yeah, I wrote that”?
If you don’t then it’s time to edit. It’s time to find opportunities for improvement that make you proud of what you write when you step back.
One thing I learned, what people say about what you’re doing doesn’t matter. Everyone will give you an opinion and tell you what they think but if they aren’t doing what you’re doing, take it with a grain of salt. That’s an outsider looking in, that’s someone talking who didn’t put in the same amount of work that you put it in.
Why do you care what people say anyway? You started writing because you have a story in your heart, and you feel it in you to tell.
Tell Your Story!
Don’t wait for people to come or followers to tell your story, because what happens if they don’t come?
You let your story die.
What’s a follower in the grand scheme of life? Nothing.
