This is Why My Writing Sucks and Yours Probably Does Too
You said your writing sucks? Me too. Join the club!
Right now, my writing sucks and I’m okay with that because I know why. I’m not frustrated by it and neither should you.
If your writing sucks right now be okay with it because I’m going to tell why it sucks and then how to fix it. If you’re anything like me your writing sucks because you have not taken the time to define a target audience.
You don’t take the time to plan and outline anything, you publish is the first draft and your headline is not good.
Once you fix these small things that are holding you back, then you can reclaim your title of being the best writer in the world and get it put on a coffee mug.
My writing sucks because I haven’t taken the time to define a target audience. Everyone says it “define your target reader,” I read that, and my mind says fudge all that nonsense, my target is the world, and everyone is going to read my writing and love it because I love it.
Oh simple, young-minded Will, you still have a long way to go.
You want to know who is going to love and appreciate your writing more than you?
Your target audience.
